About the position This position may suit either an experienced Migration Case Manager capable of managing matters with limited supervision, or a recently registered Migration Agent seeking to develop their skills across a broad range of migration matters.
Migration Case Manager You manage a portfolio of matters with limited supervision, under the supervision of a Registered Migration Agent.
Junior Migration Agent You are a recently registered agent looking to broaden your experience across a varied caseload.
The successful candidate must have at least two years of experience within Australian migration services and be confident managing matters from onboarding through to lodgement and post-lodgement follow-up.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of migration matters and ensure each case progresses efficiently.
- Review client circumstances, information and supporting documents.
- Prepare visa, nomination and sponsorship applications across a range of subclasses.
- Draft supporting statements, submissions, correspondence and document requests.
- Liaise professionally with clients, employers and relevant third parties.
- Monitor deadlines, visa conditions and outstanding requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic files and CRM records.
- Work closely with the Registered Migration Agent and other team members to ensure applications are complete, accurate and decision-ready.
- Provide migration assistance within the scope permitted by the candidate’s registration and level of experience.
Essential requirements
- At least two years of recent experience working in an Australian migration practice.
- A completed university degree.
- Strong knowledge of Australian visa processes and Department of Home Affairs requirements.
- Experience preparing employer-sponsored and/or general visa applications.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and deadline management.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
- Confidence using cloud-based document management systems and CRM platforms.
Highly regarded
- Fluency or professional proficiency in Italian and/or Spanish.
- Experience with employer-sponsored visas, including subclasses 482, 186 and 494.
- Experience with skilled, partner, student and temporary graduate visas.
- Current registration as an Australian Migration Agent, particularly for candidates applying at the Junior Migration Agent level.
Registration as a Migration Agent is welcome but not essential for candidates applying as a Migration Case Manager, as the role can be performed under the supervision of a Registered Migration Agent.
