Hello Sarnie is a growing premium grab-and-go food brand focused on fresh, high-quality sandwiches,baguettes, focaccias, wraps, bagels and café products. Our Central Kitchen is a key part of the business,preparing and supplying products across our growing store network.

As we continue to expand, we are looking for reliable people to join the team and help keep production running smoothly each day.

About the Role: We are currently recruiting casual and part-time Kitchen Hands / Central Kitchen Support team members. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will assist with food preparation, packing, cleaning and general kitchen operations. This is a practical, hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment where consistency, cleanliness and reliability are important.

Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, café, bakery, food production or hospitality environment is preferred, but not essential for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation and daily kitchen production
- Prepare ingredients for sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, focaccias and other menu items
- Portion, label and pack finished products
- Support daily production and dispatch requirements
- Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Maintain clean and sanitised preparation areas
- Receive and put away stock




- Rotate stock and follow FIFO procedures
- Follow recipes, portion guides and production processes
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
- Assist the Kitchen Manager and wider kitchen team as required

About You

- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with early morning starts
- Available to work between 6:00am and 3:00pm, Monday to Saturday
- Organised and able to follow instructions carefully
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen setting
- Focused on cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
- Comfortable standing, lifting and moving throughout a shift
- A good team player with a practical, hands-on attitude

Pay: $27.00 – $28.00 per hour
