Our Real Estate practice acts for major developers, investment funds, fund managers and corporate clients on all aspects of property work. This includes acquisitions and disposals, development projects, commercial leasing, infrastructure-related property matters and ongoing real estate advisory work.

About the role

We are seeking a full-time lawyer (3-5 PQE) to join our Real Estate practice in Sydney, working with property partner Jennifer McCosker and her team.

This is a hands-on role suited to a lawyer who is looking to build their experience in a busy, collaborative property practice with exposure to high-quality real estate and commercial leasing matters.

As part of a global firm, our Real Estate practice services clients nationally and internationally, drawing on the experience of our overseas offices and the broader K&L; Gates network to support complex and commercially significant property matters.

What does the role involve?

- Working closely with Jennifer McCosker, other members of the team and other practice groups on a variety of real estate and commercial leasing matters
- Assisting clients with their acquisitions and disposals of development sites and built form assets
- Advising on property developments, urban renewal projects and ongoing real estate advisory matters
- Assisting clients with their investment and co-investment structuring
- Acting for landlords and tenants on commercial and major leasing requirements
- Acting on property aspects of renewable energy and infrastructure projects
- Supporting other teams within the firm on the property aspects of their major projects and transactions




- Supporting the team to deliver high-quality mid-level / junior lawyer support on ongoing and upcoming client matters
- Contributing to knowledge and learning resources.

A high level of client service is expected, as are excellent organisational, written and oral communication skills.
