The Opportunity
Lead the legal team in Cairns or Townsville. Oversee service quality, supervise and mentor lawyers, maintain a small, complex caseload, and build team capability using a trauma-informed, feminist framework.
How You'll Make a Difference
- Lead, supervise, and mentor local and remote legal teams
- Oversee legal caseloads and maintain high compliance standards
- Guide practitioners through complex matters and court appearances
- Deliver trauma-informed advice across family law, domestic violence, and child protection
- Coordinate career development, performance reviews, and training
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor of Laws and unrestricted QLD/High Court Practising Certificate
- Minimum 5 years post-admission legal experience
- Blue Card (Working with Children) and C Class Driver Licence
- Expertise in family law, domestic violence, and child protection
- Proven ability to mentor, supervise, and build team capability
