About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced Level 3 Network Engineers with 5+ years Fortinet expertise to support a range of enterprise and mid-market customers across Australia.

These opportunities offer a mix of on-demand project delivery , escalation support , ticket-based troubleshooting , infrastructure upgrades, network transformations, and ongoing managed services engagements. Successful candidates may commence on contract assignments with the potential to transition into long-term or permanent roles.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide Level 3 support and technical escalation for complex networking and security environments.
- Design, implement, and support Fortinet security solutions.
- Troubleshoot network, routing, switching, and firewall issues in enterprise environments.
- Participate in project delivery, migrations, upgrades, and network refresh programs.
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Work across ticket-based support queues while maintaining SLA targets.
- Provide technical guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.




- Support customers remotely and occasionally onsite where required.

Required Skills & Experience

- Solid experience as a Level 3 Network Engineer .
- Extensive hands-on experience with:
- FortiGate Firewalls
- FortiManager
- FortiAnalyzer
- FortiSwitch
- FortiAP
- VPN Technologies
- Network Security and Segmentation
- Strong understanding of:
- Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Switching Technologies
- SD-WAN
- LAN/WAN Infrastructure
- Network Monitoring and Performance Optimisation
- Experience supporting enterprise environments and critical infrastructure.
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills.

Certifications Candidates must hold one or more of the following:

- Fortinet NSE 6
- Fortinet NSE 7
- Fortinet NSE 8

Equivalent advanced Fortinet certifications will also be considered.
