About The Role

We are currently looking for a Licensed Conveyancer to work in our friendly Real Estate team on a full time basis. Working closely with our lawyers and other licensed conveyancers you will have the confidence and skills to project manage a high volume of conveyancing work.

In this role you will be responsible for database management using our specialist in-house platform, Eportfolio and also PEXA and PEXA Projects, including entry and update of information, opening and maintaining current matter files/matters and document processing as required. You will conduct property transactions specifically focusing on developments and other conveyancing matters, undertake relevant searches and draft correspondence to various parties on a daily basis with minimal supervision and attend to the registration of dealings in PEXA. The role offers you an opportunity to engage with clients directly, delegate to an administrative assistant and the ability to run your files from start to finish.

You will have responsibilities and involvement in a wide range of areas, including:

- Off the plan Developments
- Commercial acquisitions and disposals
- Partner, staff and key client residential conveyancing and;
- Dealing registration.

About You

Ideally you will have

- Have previous experience with managing large scale (multiple lot) developments for developers;




- Be able and confident to build and sustain excellent client relationships which will include regular client meetings;
- Possess a high standard of computer skills including excel, PEXA, Expert and other relevant software programs and have an aptitude for learning new software systems;
- Be able to consistently produce accurate high quality work in a timely manner;
- Be able to identify when a transaction requires input or supervision from a lawyer;
- Be able to remain calm under pressure during periods of high work volumes and strict time frames;
- Demonstrate proactivity, initiative and the ability to prioritise activities according to level of urgency and;
- Have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
