- Salary starting from $133,348 + super, dependent on skills and experience
About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced litigation or personal injury professional to manage a diverse portfolio of workers compensation disputes, work injury damages matters and litigation proceedings.
You'll be trusted to drive outcomes, influence strategy, engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to work on complex and meaningful matters that directly impact injured workers and employers across NSW.

What You'll Be Doing As a Litigation Specialist, you will:
- Manage complex pre-litigation and litigated workers compensation matters
- Develop and implement dispute resolution and litigation strategies
- Partner with Claims Service Providers, legal representatives and internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
- Manage reviews of liability decisions and support the resolution of disputes
- Oversee external legal providers and monitor performance
- Provide expert advice on emerging legal trends, precedents and risks
- Prepare position papers and contribute to policy and legislative reviews
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, quality standards and business targets
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and share specialist knowledge across the team
About You
You'll bring
- Extensive experience in litigation, dispute resolution, personal injury or workers compensation environments
- Strong knowledge of workers compensation legislation and insurance-related claims
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills
- The ability to analyse complex information and make sound decisions
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to achieving positive outcomes
- Experience working with legal providers and managing complex disputes
- Admission as a legal practitioner in NSW with a current practising certificate will be highly regarded
