Role Description The Loan Writer is a full-time, on-site role based in Maitland, NSW. This role is responsible for preparing and submitting loan applications, including collecting client information, assessing documentation, and ensuring all details are accurate and compliant with lender requirements. Day-to-day tasks include liaising with clients to clarify financial circumstances, communicating with lenders and brokers, and following up on application status to ensure timely approvals.

The Loan

Writer will draft clear, accurate loan summaries, maintain organized records in the company’s systems,



and support clients by explaining loan options and processes in accessible terms. The role also involves collaborating with the broader finance and property team to align loan structures with clients’ overall financial and property strategies.

Qualifications

- Strong loan writing and documentation skills, including the ability to prepare accurate, compliant loan applications and supporting materials.
- Experience in finance or mortgage broking, with a sound understanding of lending products, credit assessment, and responsible lending obligations.
- Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and build trusted relationships.
- High level of attention to detail, organization, and time management to handle multiple applications and meet deadlines.
- Comfort with using loan processing systems, CRM software, and standard office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing).
- Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or willingness to obtain), and prior experience in a banking, lending, or financial advisory environment.
- Ability to work effectively in office in Maitland, NSW, as part of a collaborative team, while maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.
