Are you an experienced Logistics skilled with a firm background in integrated logistics support within the Defence industry? We currently have a need for a Logistics specialist with a firm understanding of MILIS and ERP systems based in Canberra.
The successful candidate will have proven experience conducting Materiel Codification Catalogue activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct asset stocktaking
- Management of temporary issue stores including use, storage, condition and return compliance
- Conduct codification and cataloguing
- Submitting request for Nato Stock Numbers (NSN) to the national codification bureau using MC CAT
- Maintaining ERP catalogue management
- keep manufacturer/supplier NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) codes accurate within ERP records
- Raise movement requisition orders for freight
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with MILIS
- Strong understanding of cataloguing and codification
- Previous experience working withing a Defence Logistics environment
- High attention to detail
- Understanding of NSN
- Experience with DEF-AUST 1000C desirable
Due to the nature of this role candidate will require to hold Australian citizenship and hold a current AGSVA clearance ideally NV1.
