About Us Avenues Montessori Children’s House is an Exceeding service and operates within long day care hours to support the families and children of Bowen Hills, Brisbane Australia and surrounding areas.

Nestled in Bowen Hills, Avenues Montessori Children's House is conveniently located just a 300m stroll from Bowen Hills train station. We offer a fully stocked pantry cupboard for our educators to help themselves to in their breaks. Our diverse team of passionate educators is committed to nurturing young minds,

The Role

We are currently looking for a hard working Cleaner to join our team of friendly Educators on a Permanent Part Time basis.

The successful applicant must be able to work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

- Cleaning of office, staff room and classrooms, foyer, bathroom for staff and children, lunch rooms and other areas if needed.
- Deep cleaning as required
- Respect and support colleagues by developing positive and ethical channels of communication that are based on principles of mutual respect, equity and fairness

About You

- Commercial cleaning experience preffered
- A current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card) or willing to obtain
- GECKKO child protection training, or willing to obtain.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Friendly disposition with a can do attitude
- Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
