About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Machine Operator to join our Manufacturing team at our Cheviot Road facility in Salisbury South. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you'll set up, operate and adjust rollforming machinery, complete changeovers, troubleshoot issues and keep production running safely and efficiently.

You don't need rollforming experience. We're looking for someone who is mechanically minded, confident working with machinery and hand tools, safety-focused and keen to learn.

A mechanic, fitter, die setter, diesel mechanic, panel beater or similar tradesperson would be a excellent fit. We are also open to experienced machine operators or general labourers who have worked with machinery or machine interfaces and have the right attitude to learn.

What You'll Do

- Set up, operate and adjust rollforming machinery.
- Complete machine changeovers and adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical and operational issues.
- Monitor quality and production output.
- Use hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work environment.





What We're Looking For

- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with machinery.
- Experience with machine setups, changeovers, tools or equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Strong safety mindset and attention to quality.
- Reliable, positive and willing to learn.
- Rollforming experience is a bonus, not essential.
- Mechanical trade qualification such as Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) is highly regarded.
- Full and unrestricted Australian working rights. Sponsorship is not available.
