Hire A Hubby Ormeau & Beenleigh is looking for an experienced Maintenance Carpenter to join our local property-maintenance team.
This is an Full Time employee position—not a subcontractor role.
The position suits a qualified carpenter who enjoys varied work, solving problems and being trusted to manage jobs without being micromanaged.
THE WORK
Our work covers residential properties, real estate maintenance, small businesses and supported-housing providers.
Your work may include
- Door and window repairs and replacements
- Deck, patio and verandah repairs
- Timber rot and structural rectification
- Framing, internal walls and small alterations
- Fencing, gates and external timber work
- Plaster repairs and finishing
- General property maintenance
- Small renovation and rectification work

You’ll receive support when needed, but you must be capable of organising your day, solving problems and delivering work safely and correctly in accordance with the agreed scope, relevant codes, standards and manufacturer requirements.

WHAT WE OFFER
- $40–$50 per hour plus superannuation
- Pay based on qualifications, experience and demonstrated ability
- Full-time
- Company ute supplied to full-time team members
- 4.5-day working week for full-time employees

ABOUT YOU
You will need to
- Hold relevant carpentry qualifications
- Have practical repair and maintenance experience
- Think independently and manage jobs with minimal supervision
- Communicate professionally with customers and our office
- Be reliable, punctual and well organised
- Take responsibility for quality and compliance
- Respect customers and leave worksites clean
- Hold a current driver licence and construction White Card
- Hold or be able to obtain a Blue Card before commencing
- Complete a satisfactory police check before commencing
