The Opportunity

We are partnering with a large scale, continuous manufacturing business in Melbourne to secure a Reliability or Maintenance Manager on a temporary contract basis, with an immediate start required.

This is an immediate need for an experienced leader to run the team and drive outcomes from day one, on an initial temporary contract basis. You will have full ownership of the role and the team from the outset, with genuine scope to make an impact.

For an experienced Reliability, Maintenance or Asset Manager who is available now and wants a well paid contract with a large, complex operation, this is worth a responsible look.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager and leading a broader maintenance and reliability team, you will take responsibility for asset care and maintenance performance across a 24/7 operation.

Your responsibilities will include

- Leading the maintenance team to execute the site's asset care strategy
- Ensuring critical assets have appropriate spare parts available when required
- Driving continuous improvement in proactive maintenance and reliability performance
- Managing maintenance shutdowns and ensuring effective use of resources and materials
- Optimising contract and internal workforce coverage across a 24/7 operation
- Managing maintenance budgets and ensuring resources are available to complete required work
- Reviewing and improving safety behaviour and compliance across the maintenance team
- Providing leadership, coaching and direction across the maintenance and reliability function

About You You are an experienced maintenance,



reliability or asset manager from an FMCG or food manufacturing background, available now or on short notice, who can step into a leadership role and add value immediately.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Solid experience in a maintenance, reliability or asset management leadership role within FMCG or food manufacturing
- Experience in a continuous or high volume manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing maintenance teams
- A practical understanding of maintenance budgets, planning and reliability principles
- Availability to start immediately or on short notice
