Role Description/Criteria Christ the Priest (CtP) Catholic Primary School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. Duties and Responsbilities The Maintenance Officer/Grounds Keeper will be required to undertake the following duties and responsibilities: Minor maintenance and repairs to school buildings, fixtures and fittings and grounds.Receive and act upon maintenance requests.Coordinate regular and as-needed maintenance repairs and checks.Regular inspections of grounds, plant & equipment.Provide advice and recommendations on projects relating to maintenance,



renovations and improvements of the buildings.Maintain and carry out the school's maintenance schedule.Adhere to OHS requirements.Communicate maintenance issues and concerns with a member of the school leadership team.Assist with the setting up of school events.Maintenance of school grounds including, but not limited to garden beds, lawns, paths, trees, soft-fall and sand.Other duties through consultation with the Principal. It is anticipated that the Maintenance Officer/Grounds Keeper would have or obtain, the following:

Current Full Victorian Drivers Licence.Must have a valid Working with Children Check or be able to obtain one.Be proactive, well organised and able to work to a standard without direct supervision.
