Our client is a well-established electrical engineering and maintenance services provider delivering specialist asset management, testing, maintenance and engineering solutions across commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors throughout Queensland.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Sales Representative to join their Brisbane-based team and help expand their electrical maintenance and services portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to work with a respected industry leader, supported by experienced technical and operational teams, while developing both existing customer relationships and recent business opportunities.

About the Role

This is a customer-focused sales role responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing an established customer base. Working directly with customers, you will identify electrical asset and maintenance requirements, understand operational challenges, and develop practical service solutions that improve reliability, compliance and performance.

You will manage opportunities from initial prospecting and site engagement through to proposal development, negotiation and contract award. The position also involves building long-term customer relationships and identifying opportunities across a broad range of electrical maintenance, repair, upgrade and testing services.

The role includes conducting site inspections, assessing electrical systems, reviewing technical documentation and preparing customer-focused proposals.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new business opportunities across commercial, industrial and infrastructure markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Prospect, qualify and convert new sales opportunities.
- Attend customer sites and assess electrical maintenance and asset management requirements.
- Prepare professional quotations, proposals and service solutions.




- Manage opportunities through negotiation and successful contract award.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve agreed sales targets.
- Support customer retention through ongoing service and account management.
- Work closely with technical, estimating and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify opportunities for additional maintenance, testing, upgrade and engineering services.
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and sales activity records.
- Represent the business professionally across client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and commercially focused individual who is comfortable developing relationships, generating new opportunities and managing the full sales process. Ideally, you will bring:
- Experience in B2B sales, account management or business development.
- Demonstrated success generating leads and converting opportunities into new business.
- Robust communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders across operational, technical and executive levels.
- Strong organisation and time management capabilities.
- A self-motivated approach with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the region as required.
