- $142,000 per year plus 12% superannuation, plus a 5% bonus structure
- DIDO will attract a 10k market allowance
- FIFO will attract provided flights from Brisbane
- Residential will attract housing support

The Maintenance

Fitter is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance activities, inspections, diagnostics, fault finding and repairs across heavy vehicles and specialised manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. Working collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams, the role supports asset reliability, equipment performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

In addition, the Maintenance Fitter will lead maintenance execution in line with health, safety and quality programs relating to all maintenance activities performed on site.

To Be Competent In The Role, You Will Need

- Mechanical trade certification – Diesel/Mechanic
- Volvo Equipment Experience – nominally rigid trucks
- SAP experience preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Auto electrical competency
- Heavy Rigid vehicle licence (advantageous)
- Dangerous Goods licence (advantageous)
- Queensland police clearance (SSAN)

You will have a strong focus on safety, team work and continuous improvement, together with excellent written and verbal communication skills. To be successful in this role; you will also have:

- A commitment to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance self-intuitive culture
- CMMS experience SAP advantageous
- The ability to form positive working relationships




- Excellent problem solving / trouble shooting skills.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritise maintenance duties
- Effective time management
- Strong focus and leadership on all facets of HSE
- Proficient computer skills – exposure to CMMS systems valued.
- Technically ambitious, love a challenge and provide a can-do attitude!

The Site The role is located within Moranbah town – based on a 12hr 7days on 7days off roster with residential housing support, DIDO or FIFO with camp supplied.
