Created by workers, for workers, CBUS Super is one of Australia’s most successful superannuation funds. For over four decades we’ve proudly represented those who help shape Australia, hard-working individuals who deserve to make the most of their retirement, no matter the industry. As an award-winning fund we’ve been recognised for the benefits provided to our members and our cutting-edge investment approach. All while staying committed to our member first ethos as a proud Industry Fund.

About the role

As Manager, Risk Data & Analytics, you will support the Senior Manager, Risk Data & Analytics in the delegated business ownership and day-to-day product management of CBUS' Governance, Risk and Compliance system, Archer SaaS. Acting as 2IC to the Senior Manager, you will provide operational leadership and continuity across platform strategy, roadmap, governance and service delivery.

You will translate risk, regulatory and business needs into clear, traceable and testable platform requirements. Working across Group Risk and in partnership with Technology, Security, Data, Architecture and service providers, you will manage demand, prioritisation, releases and continuous improvement so that changes are governed, supported by evidence and aligned with organisational priorities.

The role is business-led and platform-focused. Business areas remain responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of their risk content, while the Risk Data & Analytics team governs and operates the platform, its configuration, access model, data standards and release disciplines.

Key accountabilities:

- Act as 2IC to the Senior Manager, providing operational leadership, continuity and escalation across Archer platform strategy, governance, service delivery and delegated business ownership.
- Manage the Archer product roadmap, prioritised backlog, demand intake and release schedule within approved strategic direction and investment priorities,

partnering with stakeholders to refine requests, simplify processes and improve outcomes.
- Translate approved risk and business needs into clear, traceable and testable requirements, acceptance criteria and fit-for-purpose Archer solution designs, coordinating delivery with Technology, Security, Data, Architecture and service providers.
- Lead proportionate change, release and access governance, ensuring authorised configuration, appropriate approvals, segregation of duties, risk assessment, testing, business verification, rollback planning, communications, training readiness, deployment and closure evidence.
- Oversee platform health, data quality, adoption, benefits, service performance and vendor performance, including service reviews, renewals, resilience obligations, escalations and reporting to governance forums.
- Maintain clear boundaries between BAU product governance, project delivery and business ownership, supporting the controlled transition of project outcomes into BAU and enabling business owners and users to maintain accountable, high-quality risk content through clear service pathways, guidance, training and feedback.

What will you bring?

- Experience managing or supporting a GRC platform such as Archer, together with sound knowledge of risk management and the Australian financial services environment, preferably superannuation.
- Demonstrated product, platform or service-management experience, including roadmaps, backlogs, release governance, vendor management, operational resilience and the prioritisation of competing demands.

- Strong understanding of business ownership, delegated decision rights, access and data governance, with the ability to translate risk and business needs into transparent requirements and practical platform outcomes without assuming Technology authority.
- A customer-focused mindset and demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders and provide constructive challenges.
- Excellent communication, leadership and judgement, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional delivery, navigate competing perspectives and act as a trusted 2IC.
- A collaborative and supportive approach that values shared success, builds trust, strengthens team capability and helps others succeed.
