If you are not interested in boating, this is NOT the job for you!

Marine technician apprenticeship chance has come up in our workshop, working with 2 mechanics in a family run business.

1-month paid trial which may lead into an apprenticeship for the correct applicant.

Work includes but not limited to-

General trade assistant to other mechanics

Cleaning of workshop and general chores

Collecting parts including using parts catalogue to search part numbers

Servicing of engines- supervised with mechanic

Cleaning and de-greasing boats

Jobs increasing as knowledge grows

Bit about the workshop-

Fast paced workshop

Inboard and outboard servicing

Engine diagnostics

Repowers

Re-wiring and electrical installs

Trailer repairs/maintenance included bearings, lights, brakes etc.

Full time position including the occasional Saturday morning & 7am starts through summer.

The marine apprenticeship includes block training in Perth once a year.
