About us

Sushi Hub is a well-established Australian sushi brand with more than 200 stores nationwide. The brand is known for fresh, high-quality sushi, convenient store locations and online ordering. We are seeking a commercially focused Marketing Specialist to plan and deliver marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, increase customer engagement and support sales across our retail and digital channels.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Executive, the Marketing Specialist will research customer and market trends, develop integrated marketing strategies and coordinate campaigns across stores, digital platforms and local trading areas. The role will work closely with operations teams, suppliers, media partners and external agencies to ensure campaigns are timely, consistent and measurable.

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for:

· Conduct market, customer and competitor research to identify dining trends, customer preferences, local opportunities and emerging product categories.

· Develop and implement marketing plans for new product launches, seasonal menus, store openings, limited-time offers, catering and party platter promotions.

· Advise management on brand positioning, product mix, pricing, advertising channels and sales promotion strategies.

· Plan and coordinate integrated campaigns across social media, website, email, in-store point-of-sale material, local area marketing and paid media.

· Prepare campaign briefs and oversee the production of content, photography, video, menus, posters, digital assets and promotional materials in line with brand standards.

· Coordinate influencer and key opinion leader campaigns, including talent research, product seeding, communications, content scheduling and campaign follow-up.

· Manage the marketing calendar and coordinate campaign execution with store managers and operations teams across participating locations.

· Use customer relationship management and analytics platforms to monitor campaign performance, customer engagement,



website traffic, promotion uptake and store sales, and provide recommendations based on the results.

· Maintain consistent brand messaging across customer touchpoints and ensure digital content, store information, menus and promotional details remain accurate and current.

· Coordinate suppliers, creative partners, media providers and external agencies, including timelines, deliverables and quality control.

· Coordinate product launches, promotional events, community partnerships and local store initiatives, including venues, invitations, suppliers, promotional assets and event-day delivery.

· Prepare regular marketing reports, manage allocated campaign expenditure and assess return on investment against agreed objectives.

Position Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

· A bachelor degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or a closely related discipline.

· At least one year of relevant professional experience in marketing, communications, customer engagement or campaign delivery.

· Demonstrated experience in campaign planning, market and competitor research, social media content, influencer marketing, event coordination and performance reporting.

· Sound knowledge of social media, digital advertising, email marketing, websites, SEM, SEO, affiliate marketing and customer analytics.

· Robust written and verbal communication skills, commercial judgement and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

· Practical skills in content creation and design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign or Canva are advantageous but not essential.

What We Offer

- A competitive annual salary of $80,000 plus superannuation;
- A full-time, ongoing position of 38 hours per week;
