Mechanical Engineering Technician - Austral

At Multiquip, we are dedicated to serving the Australian poultry industry. Our focus lies in the safe transportation of live birds from breeder farms to processing plants. As a vital part of this process, we are seeking skilled Mechanical Engineering Technicians to join our team on a full-time basis.

In this position, you'll collaborate closely with our workshop team on the following:

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance of plant and equipment and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Installation/relocation of plant and equipment as required(old/new)
- Overhauling and reconditioning machinery and equipment
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Assisting all maintenance staff on other maintenance duties when required
- Following all Company policies and procedures at all times
- Ensuring all Work Health and Safety regulations are actioned at all times.
- Timely repairs, assessing, and prioritising breakdown service periods.





Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a rapid-paced environment

What We Offer:
- Immediate start
- Full-time role with Monday to Friday hours and Saturday rotating roster
- Over time available
- Day/Night shifts available
- $79,500 to $85,000 - Including guaranted overtime
