About Us! Motoryachts Australasia is a member of the DCH Marine Group. We are a highly specialised professional international luxury yacht brokerage, marine pleasure craft dealer, builder and service centre. As a business we have the capability to offer a full service from build, sale, ongoing service, technical and sales support and brokerage.
We are looking for a reliable, highly organised and proactive individual who has the ability to stay calm, prioritise and coordinate in a team environment to complete all tasks competently and on time. You will require the ability to build a report not only with our small team but with our high end clients, and provide a professional service from inception to completion. Strong communication skills are essential for the success of this role.
*This is a new role and start date can be worked around the right candidates availability.
*Monday to Friday 7am -3.30pm (40hrs a week)
*Located North Fremantle at the lovely North Port marina.
About the Role
- Scheduling and coordinating services and maintenance with our Lead Marine Technician
- Ensuring parts, resources, and job details are ready ahead of time
- Identifying and actioning process improvements
- Building relationships with your team, suppliers and our clients
- Work flow management through our service app.
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on various marine engines using specialized testing equipment.
- Servicing, repairing, or replacing engine components, propellers,
steering systems, bilge pumps, and fuel systems.
- Installing marine electronics, engines, and related navigation or mechanical equipment.
- Keeping accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and service checks.
- Conducting performance tests on water to ensure systems operate according to manufacturer specifications.
- Organising vessel pre-delivery inspections, and cosmetic maintenance
- Arranging North Port bookings for boat lifts etc.
- ADHOC duties to assist with the smooth operation of the Company
Qualifications and Requirements
- Qualified Mechanic or Certificate III in Marine Mechanical Technology
- Proven experience in marine mechanics, or similar.
- Skippers ticket advantageous
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems, and ability to read technical specs.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
