Senior Accountant | Business Services | Perth | $90k–$120k + Super | Hybrid

I'm working with a well-established professional services firm in Perth that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its Business Services team.

n

This is a genuine Senior-level position with a good mix of compliance, client contact and advisory work, with a explicit pathway towards Manager.

n

You'll manage your own portfolio of SME and privately owned clients and work closely with experienced Managers and Partners.

The role

- Manage a portfolio of SME and privately owned clients
n
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns
n
- Prepare and review BAS
n
- Assist with tax planning and business advisory
n
- Deal directly with clients and business owners
n
- Work through more complex client matters
n
- Review work and assist junior accountants
n
- Identify opportunities to provide additional advisory support
n

About you

n

- 3+ years' Australian public practice experience
n
- Strong Business Services / Tax experience
n
- Comfortable managing your own client portfolio
n
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards it
n
- Good technical accounting and tax knowledge
n
- Confident communicating with clients
n
- Interested in developing further into advisory
n
- Looking for a pathway towards Manager
n
