Rian Fabrication Pty Ltd is a growing metal fabrication company specialising in steel and aluminium fabrication, custom metalwork, balustrades, and bespoke fabrication projects.
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Tradesperson – Fabricator to join our workshop team.

About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of fabrication duties, working from drawings and specifications to produce high-quality steel and aluminium components and structures.
You will work closely with our fabrication and welding team to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and within required timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating steel and aluminium components and structures
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and workshop plans
- Measuring, marking, cutting, drilling and preparing materials
- MIG/TIG welding and general welding duties
- Grinding, sanding and finishing fabricated products
- Using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery
- Ensuring fabricated products meet required specifications and quality standards
- Assisting with installation and site work when required
- Loading and unloading materials
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop
- Following all WHS/OH&S; policies and procedures
- Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Fabricator or Metal Fabricator
- Relevant trade qualification is highly desirable
- Strong experience working with steel and/or aluminium
- Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
- Competent welding and fabrication skills
- Good knowledge of fabrication tools and workshop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to accurately measure and work to specifications
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual and safety conscious
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and lifting 25kg or more when required
- Valid driver's licence preferred
- Non-smoker
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to successfully pass a National Police Check
- Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position
