About the role – 12 Month Contract

You’ll own the technical design and delivery of Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations and merges (mailbox, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams), transition device management to Microsoft Intune + Windows Autopilot, enable secure BYOD, and implement Microsoft Entra ID identity, conditional access, and hybrid identity solutions.

You’ll work closely with project managers, architects, and stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and support cutovers (including occasional out-of-hours/weekend work).

Key responsibilities

- Plan and execute Microsoft 365 tenant migrations and consolidations
- Lead migration from legacy device management to Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot
- Design and implement BYOD enrolment, compliance, and conditional access policies
- Configure Microsoft Entra ID (hybrid identity, SSO, directory sync, conditional access)
- Manage migration waves, coexistence, and cutovers with minimal business disruption
- Configure Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview (sensitivity labels, DLP)
- Produce technical designs, runbooks, and operational handover documentation
- Participate in CAB processes and stakeholder workshops





What you’ll need

- 5+ years’ experience delivering Microsoft 365 and Contemporary Workplace solutions, including tenant migrations and endpoint management
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations/consolidations
- Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and BYOD
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (hybrid identity, conditional access, SSO)
- Experience with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview
- Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred (e.g. Endpoint Administrator, Identity and Access Administrator)
- Strong technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience working within structured change management (CAB) processes
