About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join the team.
You will be responsible for:
- Fabricating, assembling and welding thin-gauge metal components to required specifications.
- Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
- Performing high-quality MIG and TIG welding.
- Working with light-gauge materials from 0.9mm to 1.6mm.
- Working with Zincaneal, Galvabond, Mild Steel and Stainless Steel.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and meets quality and safety requirements.
About You To be successful in this role,
you will have:
- A relevant welding/fabrication qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in MIG welding.
- Solid experience working with thin-gauge metals.
- The ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality.
- $49.00ph casual hourly rate
- Salary negotiable based on experience
- Permanent full-time position also available
- Consistent Monday-Friday day shift
