Club Manager – Plus Fitness Bomaderry & South Nowra

We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing and highly motivated Club Manager to oversee our Plus Fitness Bomaderry and Nowra locations.

This is a hands-on Club Manager position with a solid focus on sales, community engagement, local marketing and business development.

This is not a management role where you simply oversee the clubs and the team. For the majority of your rostered hours, you will be working within the clubs and actively involved in their day-to-day operation – serving members, following up leads, making sales calls, conducting appointments, selling memberships and completing the same core club duties as the team you manage.

Alongside this, you will take responsibility for the performance of both clubs, lead and support the team, ensure sales targets and operational standards are achieved, and drive our presence within the local community.

We want someone who isn't afraid to get out from behind the desk either. A major part of the role will be building relationships with local businesses, sporting clubs, schools, community groups and corporate partners and continually finding new ways to generate leads and grow both clubs.

Your role includes but is not limited to:

- Managing the day-to-day operations of both Bomaderry and South Nowra
- Working rostered club shifts and being actively involved in the daily running of the clubs
- Leading, supporting and motivating club staff
- Driving membership sales and working towards individual and club sales targets
- Making outbound sales and lead follow-up calls
- Conducting membership appointments, club tours and selling memberships
- Responding to new and existing enquiries
- Booking appointments and Personal Training sessions
- Day-to-day reception and administrative duties
- Answering incoming phone calls and customer enquiries
- Greeting members and creating a friendly and welcoming club environment
- Processing memberships and administrative paperwork
- Maintaining a high standard of club cleanliness and presentation, including putting away weights




- Managing staff performance and ensuring club procedures and standards are followed
- Developing and implementing local area marketing
- Building relationships throughout the Bomaderry, Nowra and surrounding communities
- Proactively approaching local businesses to develop partnerships and corporate membership opportunities
- Building relationships with sporting clubs, schools and community organisations
- Organising community activations, promotions, open days and local events
- Identifying opportunities to promote Plus Fitness throughout the local area
- Assisting with engaging local social media content and club marketing
- Generating new membership leads through outreach, partnerships and community involvement
- Handling member concerns professionally and finding appropriate solutions
- Other duties as required as part of the day-to-day operation and management of the clubs

A Big Focus on Community & Local Growth We want Plus Fitness Bomaderry and South Nowra to be genuinely involved in the local community, and this will be an important part of your role.

We are looking for someone who will proactively create opportunities rather than simply wait for enquiries to come through the door.

That might mean visiting local businesses to introduce a corporate membership offer, partnering with a local sporting club, attending a community event, organising an in-club activation, developing a referral partnership or coming up with a completely current way to get our clubs in front of the local community.

You'll need to be comfortable picking up the phone, walking into a local business, introducing yourself and starting a conversation.





To be considered for this position, you will need:

- Experience in a similar management, sales, customer service or fitness industry role
- A genuine passion for health and fitness
- A confident, outgoing and friendly personality
- A strong "can-do" attitude
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confidence approaching local businesses and developing new relationships
- The ability to lead, support and motivate a team
- The ability to take initiative and work without constant direction
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- A strong focus on sales, growth and achieving targets
- A willingness to be hands-on in all aspects of running the clubs
- Proven sales, marketing or business development experience is highly regarded
- The ability to work across both Bomaderry and South Nowra locations
