About the role The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance and support of our network infrastructure, computer systems and related business technology. The position will play an important role in ensuring the reliability, security and efficient operation of our IT environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administering, maintaining and supporting the organisation's network infrastructure
- Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting routers, switches and other network equipment
- Monitoring network performance, connectivity and availability and identifying and resolving network issues
- Maintaining and supporting Windows operating environments and Windows Server systems
- Installing, configuring and maintaining computer hardware, software and network systems
- Diagnosing and resolving network, system, hardware and software faults
- Implementing system updates, patches and security configurations
- Monitoring network and system security and assisting with maintaining appropriate access controls
- Providing technical support and resolving complex IT and network-related issues
- Supporting the implementation, administration and maintenance of business systems and applications
About you
- A Bachelor of Information Technology or equivalent relevant Bachelor-level ICT qualification
- A minimum of 1 year of full time relevant professional experience in network administration or a closely related IT infrastructure role
- Demonstrated experience administering and maintaining computer networks
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches and network connectivity
- Experience with Windows operating systems and Windows Server environments
- Sound knowledge of network security, system updates and security configurations
- Strong hardware, software and network troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
