Role Description The Nurse Call Installation Tech is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW. This position is responsible for installing, configuring, and testing nurse call systems and associated cabling in healthcare facilities, ensuring reliable performance and compliance with relevant standards. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, pulling and terminating cables, mounting hardware, labeling infrastructure, and assisting with system integration and commissioning.

The role also involves diagnosing and resolving installation issues, collaborating with project managers and other technicians, and maintaining accurate documentation of work performed. The technician will interact with clients on-site,



provide clear updates on progress, and support a protected working environment in line with company and site policies.

Qualifications

- Cabling skills, including installation, termination, and testing of structured cabling and nurse call system wiring.
- Troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving technical issues with cabling and hardware.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Focus on Customer Satisfaction, with a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality installations.
- Experience with or exposure to healthcare or nurse call systems is highly advantageous.
- Understanding of relevant standards, safety practices, and compliance requirements for data and low-voltage cabling.
- Ability to work on-site, use hand and power tools safely, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to client sites within Sydney and surrounding areas as required.
- Trade qualification or industry certifications in cabling, telecommunications, or related fields are beneficial.
