Achieve Something Great

Lead a dynamic perioperative specialty module at Liverpool Hospital Operating Theatres and play a key role in shaping clinical excellence, workforce development and service delivery within one of the District's busiest surgical services.

- Provide leadership and operational management for a highly specialised theatre module, supporting a skilled team across trauma, orthopaedics, vascular, obstetric, plastics and facial maxillary specialties.
- Be part of an expanding service, with the exciting introduction of renal transplant surgery later in 2026, offering opportunities to contribute to service growth and innovation.
- Mentor, guide and support nursing staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning and high-quality patient care.
- Work closely with Perioperative Services leadership, multidisciplinary teams and Liverpool Hospital Executive to drive operational efficiency and achieve service objectives.
- Lead the monitoring and evaluation of key performance indicators, clinical outcomes and operational processes to ensure excellence in patient care and service delivery.

Are You the Right Fit?

You are an experienced senior nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, supporting high-performing teams and driving excellence within a busy Operating Theatre environment. You are approachable, organised and thrive in a role that combines clinical leadership with operational management.

- Proven experience in a Perioperative setting.
- A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams,



clinicians and key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and foster a positive team culture.
- Demonstrated experience using clinical systems including SurgiNet, eMR, PAS and PowerChart.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and consistently meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage conflict professionally and uphold the NSW Health Code of Conduct.

Selection Criteria To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
- Describe your experience working within a Perioperative setting in a leadership role.
- Demonstrate your ability to work collaboratively and independently in a busy working environment and how you effectively communicate and engage.
