Your new role: As a Nutrition and Dietetic Assistant, you'll support Allied Health Professionals in delivering safe, person-centred care to patients across Logan Hospital. Working under direction and within your scope of practice, you'll assist with patient interventions, education, equipment, documentation and day-to-day clinical activities while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide delegated patient interventions under the direction of Allied Health Professionals.
- Assist with patient care, treatment programs, education, transport and clinical activities.
- Support equipment, resources, stock control, menu ordering and clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with patients, carers, dietitians and the wider healthcare team.

About You You're a reliable, organised and compassionate team member who takes pride in providing high-quality support to patients and Allied Health Professionals. You understand the importance of working within your scope of practice and communicating effectively when support is required. Skills & Experience

- Ability to provide delegated patient interventions within your scope of practice.

About Us Logan Hospital: Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.



We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
