Due to continued growth, BodyRight Healthcare is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our NDIS Community Team, supporting participants to achieve greater independence and improve their everyday lives.
This is a adaptable contractor prospect ideal for an OT who enjoys community-based work and wants the freedom to build a caseload around their availability.
About the Role
You’ll provide Occupational Therapy services to NDIS participants in their homes and community settings across Melbourne.
Depending on your experience and interests, your work may include:
- Functional Capacity Assessments
- Home and living assessments
- Assistive technology assessment and recommendations
- Home modification recommendations
- Activities of daily living assessments
- Developing practical strategies to improve independence and participation
- Preparing reports and recommendations for NDIS participants
- Working collaboratively with participants, families, support coordinators and other health professionals

About You We’d love to hear from Occupational Therapists who are confident working independently and passionate about delivering practical, person-centred care.
You will need
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check, where applicable
- Current Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Strong communication, assessment and report-writing skills
