Jade - Care Therapy and Support

Casula

Are you a new graduate Occupational Therapist looking for the right place to start your career? Or an early-career OT looking for a role where you can continue developing your skills without the pressure of unrealistic billing targets?

Genuine mentoring. A multidisciplinary team. Administrative support. Career development.

Jade is a rapidly growing disability and allied health provider based in Casula, NSW, supporting participants across a wide range of locations throughout South West and Western Sydney, including: Liverpool, Casula, Campbelltown, Cabramatta, Fairfield, Bankstown, Parramatta and surrounding suburbs.

Our multidisciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Early Childhood Teachers, Therapy Assistants, Support Coordinators and Support Workers.

We primarily work with NDIS participants and private clients and aim to provide families with a central service where their therapy, care and support needs can be coordinated under one team. We have recently expanded into a larger site and are continuing to grow our allied health team.

The Role

As an Occupational Therapist at Jade, you will work with a varied caseload, with the majority of our participants being children and adolescents, as well as opportunities to support adults.Depending on your experience and interests, your role may include:

- Providing evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions
- Supporting participants with Autism, ADHD, developmental delay and other developmental or functional needs

- Supporting sensory processing and emotional regulation
- Building independence with daily living and self-care skills
- Supporting social, community and life skills
- Completing functional and standardised assessments
- Developing individualised therapy and support plans
- Completing reports and recommendations

- Working alongside our multidisciplinary allied health team

The role is primarily clinic-based from our Casula centre, with opportunities for community, school and home-based sessions depending on participant needs and your preferences. For new graduates, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians and a broader multidisciplinary team rather than having to navigate your first professional role alone. We provide support with clinical development, assessments, report writing, NDIS processes, caseload management and building confidence as an independent clinician.
