Role Description

This full-time Occupational Therapist role is on-site and mobile from Berwick to Traralgon in VIC.

The Occupational

Therapist will assess clients’ functional cabilities, develop individualized intervention plans, and provide education and training that promote meaningful participation in daily activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, implementing cacpity building programs, monitoring progress, and updating documentation in line with NDIS requirements. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, communicating with families and support coordinators,



and delivering services across paediatric and adult caseloads as appropriate.

The Occupational

Therapist will also participate in service planning, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical skills in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and evidence-based intervention.
- Relevant knowledge in Social Model of Disability, Recovery and Trauma informed approaches to support holistic, multidisciplinary care.
- Excellent Communication and Relationship building skills to engage effectively with clients, families, carers, and other professionals.
- Experience or interest in Pediatrics, including supporting children and young people with diverse developmental and functional needs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate qualified body.
- Understanding of NDIS frameworks, person-led practice, and goal-based therapy planning.
- Ability to manage a caseload, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Current driver’s license and willingness to travel as required for client appointments.
