Reporting to the Regional Manager, this is an elevated specialist role taking ownership of some of Sydney’s most influential on-premise venues across the CBD, Eastern Suburbs and Inner West. You’ll combine your drinks expertise, commercial capability and industry relationships to grow an established customer base, identify and convert new opportunities, and build strong partnerships with venue owners, operators and key decision-makers.

More than simply managing a territory, you’ll become a trusted specialist within the on-premise channel, bringing an exceptional spirits portfolio to life through activations, new product ranging, education and outstanding execution. You’ll work closely with customers to grow visibility, influence and ultimately sales, while becoming a go-to expert for world-leading brands across the Sydney market.

Key Responsibilities

- Build strong mutually beneficial relationships in on-premise channel
- Establish sales based journey plans to meet & exceed state targets
- Execute activations inline with national promotional plans
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Develop and execute joint business plans with key customers
- Deliver sales targets across volume, distribution & revenue
- Present products, lead tastings and deliver compelling pitches
- Drive brand awareness through education




- Monitor account performance; risks and opportunities
- Support customers with product, ranging & promotions
- Collaborate internally across marketing, supply chain & finance
- Share valuable insights, trends inc NPD opportunities

What you’ll bring

- Proven sales experience within the the drinks industry either in a hybrid or an on-premise specialist role
- Genuine knowledge of Sydney’s bar and venue scene
- Strong commercial instincts and a track record of developing existing accounts while hunting out new opportunities
- Excellent relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills
- A passion for premium drinks and the ability to confidently educate and engage customers around brands
- Energy, autonomy and the ability to thrive in a quick-moving, competitive environment
- A collaborative mindset; someone who wants to contribute to the wider team
- Ability to execute activations and ensure compliance on promotions
- Commercial understanding of pricing, margins and trade spend
- Desire for self improvement with a willingness to learn
- Ability to follow call cycles and work autonomously
- Prior experience using a CRM, maintaining data and reporting
