About the Company:

We are a dynamic and growing manufacturing business based in Raymond Terrace, Newcastle, seeking a dedicated Operations Coordinator to join our team. The Role:

Reporting to owner, you will be the bridge between our customers, production floor, and supply chain. Your primary focus will be managing incoming enquiries, pricing up custom projects, and ensuring our production runs smoothly from raw material to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

•Customer Negotiations: Liaise with clients, negotiate pricing and terms, and build strong, lasting customer relationships.

•Supply Chain Management: Coordinate raw material procurement and inventory levels to ensure production has what it needs, when it needs it.

•Logistics & Dispatch:



Organize and schedule efficient local and regional delivery of completed orders to meet customer deadlines.

•Issue Invoice: Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients upon completion or agreed milestones of orders.

•Laser Cutting Estimations: Review drawings and specifications to accurately estimate production times, material usage, and costs for laser-cutting projects.

To Be Successful, You Will Need:

•Proven experience in a manufacturing, or steel/metal fabrication environment.

•Demonstrated experience with job estimation, quoting, or production planning (laser cutting experience highly regarded but not mandatory).

•Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.

•Familiar computer and Microsoft Office skills, along with experience using accounting apps and payment apps.
