Operations Manager – Precast Concrete

$140,000–$160,000 + Super

Link-Force Australia is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our client’s precast concrete yard in Caversham.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who understands concrete production and can keep the yard, workforce, materials and scheduled pours organised. You will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee daily production and general yard operations
- Coordinate labour and allocate daily activities
- Order concrete, reinforcement and other materials required for production
- Monitor stock levels and arrange supplies when required
- Ensure everything is prepared ahead of scheduled concrete pours
- Complete and maintain production and quality checklists
- Ensure all pre-pour inspections and sign-offs are completed
- Ensure post-pour inspections and documentation are completed
- Monitor production against the programme and project deadlines




- Maintain accurate computer-based records and documentation
- Communicate with management, suppliers and project teams
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and yard organisation
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow and productivity

About you:
- Previous operations, production or yard management experience
- Experience within precast concrete, structural concrete or a similar manufacturing setting
- Good understanding of concrete pours and quality-control procedures
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate production teams
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable using computers and maintaining accurate documentation
- Practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a busy precast operation while working with an established and supportive concrete company. A salary of $140,000–$160,000 plus super is available along with other perks, depending on experience and fit.
