The Opportunity: Reporting to the Field Superintendent, purpose of the role is to be responsible for performing day-to-day production activities, failure intervention and maintenance/inspection activities for all wells, gathering systems, production facilities inclusive of compression, water and power assets and associated infrastructure within an assigned (via secondment allocation) team (Maintenance or Production) and/or geographical area (Surat – Dalby, or, Surat Other – e.g. Girrawheen [Nth], Jammat).

In addition, as an Operations Technician – E&I; you will:

- Ensure safe in field operations of assigned wells, gathering and production assets with the aim to maximise availability and minimise production deferment.
- Execution of assigned PM and CM scopes of work as defined by the company CMMS.
- Ensuring all relevant maintenance data is captured in the CMMS including Work Order closure and CM notifications for defects identified while performing tasks.
- Conduct first response asset failure intervention activities including troubleshooting, repair or escalation as required.




- Follow all prescribed Permit to Work and secure isolation practices including holding the positions of Permit Holder and/or Permit Verifier/Issuer as required.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.

About You:

- Qualification: High School / FE College or 2 A Levels or BTEC Higher National Diploma
- Experience: minimum of 3 years previous operational/maintenance experience working in heavy industry, ideally within oil and gas
- Skilled in detailed fault finding on complex electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology
- Certificate III in Instrumentation
- Current electrical licence recognised in Queensland.
- Installation and Maintenance of electrical equipment in hazardous areas
- Gas Test Atmosphere MSMWHS217 or equivalent.
- Working at Heights -RIIWHS204D or equivalent.
- Elevated Work Platform High Risk Work Licence (EWP)
- Open driver’s licence (Manual).
- Light Vehicle Operations RIIVEH305 or PMASUP236
- Current First Aid including CPR and LV rescue.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance and compliance with Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (SOCI Act).




- Work flexible shift patterns as required to meet maintenance management requirements e.g participate in night shift rosters or on call duties
