Public Sector People is seeking an experienced Organisational Change Lead to lead complex organisational change initiatives from initial strategic analysis and business case development through to implementation, transition and benefits realisation.

This role will play a critical part in ensuring significant transformation initiatives are evidence-based, well governed and successfully embedded across the organisation

You'll be able to translate strategic intent into practical delivery outcomes, build confidence across senior stakeholders, navigate complex workforce and industrial relations environments, and deliver sustainable organisational change that supports future operating model.

- Department: QLD State Government

- Location: Queensland, Brisbane CBD.

- Contract: Organisational Change / Specialist Organisational Change Lead

- Pay: $1000-$1220 per day

- Contract: Initial 3 months + extension

- Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the assessment, design and planning of complex organisational change initiatives, including business case development, organisational design, workforce impact analysis, and strategic recommendations for executive decision-making

- Develop and execute implementation plans that support organisational restructuring, workforce transition and change adoption,



while ensuring compliance with HR, industrial relations and consultation requirements

- Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to drive engagement, establish governance frameworks, manage risks and issues, and ensure successful delivery and perks realisation of change initiatives.

Ideal Background

- Extensive experience delivering complex organisational change programs.

- Strong expertise in organisational design, workforce transition and change management.

- Sound knowledge of HR, industrial relations, consultation obligations and workforce compliance frameworks.

- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, particularly with senior executives.

Desired Qualifications

- Relevant qualification in Business, Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Public Administration, Management or similar.

- Change Management, Project Management or Program Management certification highly regarded.

- Experience within QLD Government is essential.
