We are seeking a legendary part-time Receptionist (3-4 days per week) with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in medical reception.
Reporting to our Practice Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our patient enquiries, providing a warm, skilled welcome and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of Carpal Tunnel clinics.
Phones can get busy, but you’re cool with that. You can multi-task and prioritise your work.
This role requires strong communication, organisational skills, and a genuine passion for patient care.

We are a small, purpose-led team delivering high-quality Carpal Tunnel care using advanced, evidence based treatment procedures.
Role Purpose The CTA / CTI Receptionist will play a critical role in increasing consultation and Carpal Tunnel procedure rates by proactively engaging with patients and supporting them through the booking process. The role is designed to provide information and guidance about our advanced carpal tunnel advanced procedure. This leads to a consultation with our doctors either in person or via telehealth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls and receive inbound enquiries.
- Assist the Patient Liaison Officer day to day
- Manage patient follow-up for consultations and procedures, starting with Carpal Tunnel Australia (CTA) and Carpal Tunnel Institute (CTI) leads.
• Progress to post-consult closing for Carpal Tunnel Assessments, and post-consult closing.
- Provide weekly reporting on consultation and procedure conversions.
- Share patient insights with the Practice Manager to support service improvements.
- Contribute to a patient-centred, professional, and supportive clinic environment.
- Other reception roles also required 20% pf the time.
About You To succeed in this role, you will bring:
● Minimum 2 years medical reception experience
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a solid patient focus.
● Experience with Best Practice or Cliniko software preferred, but not essential.
● Highly organised! Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
● Strong computer literacy and experience
● Professional presentation and a proactive, can-do attitude.
● Reliability, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset.
