POSITION TITLE: Partnerships Manager

CONTRACT TERM: Full time, Ongoing (Hybrid work environment)

ABOUT FUZZY:

Formed 30 years ago, Fuzzy creates incredible events and festivals in some of the most spectacular locations across Australia. Fuzzy also tours a large number of live acts and DJs from across the globe and Australia, often finding artists before they break it big globally.

Core events include the iconic New Year’s Day celebration, Field Day, and Sydney’s most breathtaking harbourside party, Harbourlife, Bondi Beach concert series Golden Hour, and regional touring festival Groovin the Moo.

The plan for the future is more great parties and more good times done properly.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Partnerships Manager is responsible for securing, managing and delivering commercial partnerships across Fuzzy’s portfolio of live music events.

With a focus on securing new and diversified partnerships across key categories, the role will develop brand opportunities that align with Fuzzy’s audiences, events and commercial ambitions, while managing established beverage partnerships and integrated campaigns.

This is a creative, commercial and hands-on role spanning the full partnership lifecycle, from prospecting, pitching and negotiation through to contracting, activation and onsite delivery.

The role requires a strong understanding of live music and festivals, partnership sales and contracting, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Ideal for someone passionate about live music, commercially driven and creatively minded, with an existing network across brands and agencies, the role is about building commercial outcomes, growing a vibrant community of brand partners and finding new ways for brands to add to the live energy that makes Fuzzy events special.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partnership Strategy & Growth

- Work closely with the Head of Partnerships to deliver Fuzzy’s partnership strategy and achieve commercial revenue targets across the event portfolio.
- Proactively identify, develop and secure new partnership opportunities, with a particular focus on diversifying Fuzzy’s partner portfolio across key growth categories.
- Leverage an established network of brands, agencies and industry contacts to generate leads, introductions and current business opportunities.
- Lead the development of tailored partnership proposals and pitches,



translating brand objectives into compelling opportunities across Fuzzy events, audiences and platforms.
- Manage opportunities through the sales lifecycle, including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, contracting and handover into delivery.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the sponsorship landscape, category trends and competitor activity to identify new commercial opportunities.

Relationship Management & Account Delivery
- Manage a portfolio of key Fuzzy partners, acting as the primary day-to-day contact and building strong, trusted relationships.
- Develop strong relationships with brand and agency stakeholders, identifying opportunities to grow, renew and deepen existing partnerships.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of partner contracts, rights and deliverables, ensuring commitments are delivered to a high standard.
- Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless partnership delivery across marketing, production, ticketing, operations and events.

Events, Campaigns & Communications
- Lead the development and delivery of integrated partner campaigns and activations across Fuzzy’s portfolio, from initial concept through to onsite execution.
- Work collaboratively with Fuzzy’s marketing, creative, event and production teams to develop partnerships that feel relevant to the event and enhance the fan experience.
- Translate contractual rights into clear internal briefs, timelines and deliverables, ensuring all stakeholders understand partner requirements.
- Manage partner approvals, creative assets, ticketing initiatives, content, competitions, hospitality and other campaign requirements.
- Take a hands-on role onsite at Fuzzy events, overseeing partner activations, hospitality and delivery and resolving issues as required.
- Identify creative opportunities for partners to go beyond traditional sponsorship and meaningfully contribute to the live energy of Fuzzy events.

Financial & Commercial Management
- Support the Head of Partnerships in achieving annual partnership revenue targets and broader commercial objectives.




- Own commercial negotiations for allocated new business opportunities, renewals and account growth within agreed parameters.
- Manage partnership budgets, activation funds and commercial commitments, ensuring activity is delivered on budget and contractual obligations are met.
- Coordinate accurate and timely invoicing, payment tracking and financial administration.
- Maintain strong commercial awareness across all accounts, identifying opportunities to increase partnership value and revenue while protecting Fuzzy’s commercial interests.

Reporting & Planning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date partnership pipelines, sales forecasts, contracts, deliverables and account information.
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Partnerships on new business activity, account performance, revenue forecasts and key opportunities or risks.
- Lead post-event and post-campaign reporting for assigned partners, demonstrating delivery, results, insights and partnership value.
- Contribute to annual partnership planning, category strategy and identification of new commercial opportunities across Fuzzy’s portfolio.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential

- 3–5 years’ experience in partnerships, sponsorship, business development or account management.
- Proven ability to identify, pitch and secure new commercial partnerships.
- An established network across brands, agencies and industry contacts.
- Strong relationship management skills with confidence managing senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing partnerships end-to-end, from pitch and negotiation through to delivery and reporting.
- Strong understanding of live events, brand partnerships and audience engagement.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and financial awareness.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative and collaborative mindset, with a genuine passion for live music, events and culture.

Desirable
- Experience working within the music, arts, entertainment or broader creative industries.
- Knowledge of CRM and sales management platforms, such as Salesforce.
- Working knowledge of design and presentation platforms, such as Canva.
- A genuine passion for live music, festivals and culture.
