Description
- Conduct payroll compliance testing and transactional audits across payroll and time & attendance systems.
- Investigate payroll discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain and support payroll compliance and risk management frameworks.
- Monitor changes to Australian payroll legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and superannuation obligations.
- Support internal and external audits through reporting and documentation.
- Analyse large payroll data sets to identify trends, anomalies and compliance risks.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Legal,
Audit and IT stakeholders.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and strengthen payroll controls.
- Produce compliance reporting and insights for leadership teams.
Profile
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Experience working within large, complex and high-volume payroll environments.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret payroll data and identify risks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Experience using payroll systems and advanced Excel skills
