About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Payroll and Systems Lead, you will contribute to the delivery of accurate and timely end-to-end payroll services across RSL Care SA. Working within the Finance Team, you will process fortnightly payroll, maintain employee records and entitlements, complete reconciliations and reporting, and respond to payroll enquiries from employees and managers.

This position will play an significant role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately and in accordance with relevant legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, organisational policies and procedures.

Your other key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Processing end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis, including employee entitlements, leave, deductions, allowances, overtime and salary packaging.
- Reviewing payroll calculations and employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant awards, agreements and legislative requirements.
- Responding to payroll enquiries from employees, managers and external stakeholders, while working closely with Finance, Rostering, Recruitment and department managers.
- Setting up new employees, maintaining payroll and roster information,



and processing employee changes and terminations.
- Preparing fortnightly and monthly payroll reports, reconciliations and journals, while supporting EOFY and audit processes.
- Preparing and reconciling superannuation, PAYG, STP, WorkCover, Paid Parental Leave and other payroll-related payments and deductions.

About you The successful candidate will bring established payroll experience within a complex organisation, along with strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements. You will be confident interpreting Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements, as well as using payroll systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. With a strong focus on accuracy, you will be highly organised, able to manage competing deadlines and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder relationship skills will also be important to your success in this role - to be able to liaise with internal stakeholders who have queries about the end-to-end payroll process.

The successful candidate will also possess:

- Tertiary qualifications in bookkeeping or payroll (preferred, however not essential).
- Experience within a not-for-profit, aged care or similarly regulated environment (preferred).
- A current NDIS Worker Check, or the ability to obtain one if successful.
