yourtown is a trusted provider of services for young people, with a focus on mental health and wellbeing, long-term unemployment, prevention of youth suicide, child protection, as well as support for those experiencing domestic and family violence.

Realise your potential at yourtown. your opportunity Based at our Head Office in Milton, this 12-month maximum term, full-time opportunity sits within our People & Culture team. Reporting to the Payroll Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll services are delivered to employees across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, has a strong eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Your role will include: • Processing end-to-end payroll activities accurately and on time

- Managing payroll transactions including employee changes, terminations and adjustments
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and payroll requirements
- Responding to payroll enquiries and resolving payroll-related issues promptly

• Supporting month-end and end-of-financial-year payroll processes and reconciliations what we are looking for: You are an experienced payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced workplace, enjoys working with numbers, and is committed to delivering accurate outcomes while providing a high level of support to employees and stakeholders.



Experience working within a large, complex organisation and managing high-volume payroll processing is essential.

You will bring: • Demonstrated experience processing end-to-end payroll in a medium to large organisation, ideally supporting a workforce of 500+ employees

- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical skills and data accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience using UKG Ready will be highly regarded
