THE OPPORTUNITYReporting to the highly regarded Payroll Systems Manager, the Payroll Systems Officer is responsible for the effective administration and optimisation of Payroll systems and processes ensuring the accuracy, integrity and compliance of employee and Payroll data.

This role plays an integral part in managing and enhancing the Payroll system while supporting Payroll Operations to ensure end-to-end payroll processing is completed accurately and on schedule each fortnight.

Being a Payroll Systems role, the day to day tasks are varied however below are the types of activities you will have the opportunity to sink your teeth into:

- Payroll System Administration
- Data Maintenance & Integrity
- Training and Documentation
- Compliance and Reporting
- Risk Management

IDEAL APPLICANTSYou will either present as a seasoned Payroll Officer (with a full understanding of the end to end Payroll process) or someone with other duties in a business who has assumed System Adminstrator responsibilites including either Payroll/Time & Attendance or HRIS.

Whatever the case, you are someone who prides yourself on your skills when it comes to:

- Understaning EBA's and Awards in a complex Health/Aged Care work workplace
- MS Excel (Pivot Table/LOOKUP)
- The ability to translate technical jargon to non Payroll stakeholders
