Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.
Penrith Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub (Penrith Kids Hub) is the latest addition to the Child; Youth & Family Mental Health Services located across from Nepean Hospital. This new service will provide mental health services for children 0-12 years experiencing mild- moderate developmental, emotional, relational and/or behavioral difficulties. The multidisciplinary service will provide initial assessments, care coordination, treatment & therapies, diagnostic services and parenting, attachment, relationship and family support.
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and visionary leader to establish and lead the new Penrith Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub, the latest addition to Child, Youth and Family Mental Health (CYF-MH).
This creative multidisciplinary service will provide early intervention mental health support for children aged 0-12 years experiencing mild to moderate developmental, emotional, relational and behavioral difficulties. The service will deliver assessments, care coordination, treatment and therapies, diagnostic services, and parenting, attachment and family support to help children and families thrive.
As the Penrith Kids Hub Manager, you will lead the planning, implementation and ongoing management of this new service, overseeing service model development, clinical and operational processes, strategic partnerships and financial performance. Working closely with key stakeholders including the PHN, Greater Western Aboriginal Health Service (GWAHS) and a range of community partners, you will ensure the delivery of safe, accessible, culturally responsive and effective care aligned with national and state priorities. now to lead an innovative service that will transform access to mental health care for local children and families.

- Relevant tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline and/or equivalent Senior Leadership or management experience within Community Child and Youth Mental Health or Community Health services.
- 2Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary clinical teams, with strong capabilities in people leadership, workforce management and operational service delivery.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary NSW and National health priorities, including issues relevant to Child, Youth and Family Mental Health and the development of Mental Health services.
- Sound understanding of quality, risk, governance and regulatory frameworks relevant to healthcare service delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills, with a demonstrated commitment to person-centred and family-centred care.
- Proven ability to lead and manage change initiatives, including service development, establishment, integration and continuous improvement.
- 7Highly developed analytical, strategic, communication and organisational skills, including the ability to solve complex problems, lead high-level negotiations, and prepare complex reports, business cases and executive briefings.
- Current Driver's License and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
