Compare Club

Sydney

- Join Australia's largest comparison business

- This role works 5 hours a day, 5 days a week (25 hours/week)

- Supportive Team

Compare Club provides comparison services across a broad range of household expense categories aimed at making it easier for consumers to make the right purchasing decisions, providing them more value and peace of mind. Everything we do is aimed at helping customers save money on household bills.

Behind that customer experience is a People &

- Culture team that looks after our own people just as carefully - and that's where you come in.

As our People Operations Coordinator, you'll be the on-the-ground face of People &

- Culture for your state - one of two Coordinators, each covering a different state, working closely with our Melbourne-based People Operations Manager.

Why choose Compare Club?

We're one of Australia's largest comparison businesses, and we back our people with real systems, automation and AI tools to work smarter — not just more paperwork. This is a hands-on role where reliable execution and genuine care for people make all the difference.

What You'll Be Doing

- Keep our People systems accurate — updating records, processing requests and flagging improvement ideas rather than working around problems.

- Support onboarding and offboarding for your local office, coordinating pre-employment checks, paperwork and logistics.

- Be the local first point of contact for visa and immigration questions, tracking key milestones and escalating to our visa partner when needed.

- Support the administration of local workers compensation claims and return-to-work plans, working alongside employees, managers and the People Operations Manager.

- Help run our local WHS Committee, Fire Wardens and First Aiders — coordinating meetings, training records and incident follow-up.

- Bring local social events, company-wide moments and executive team gatherings to life — from the Christmas party to interstate offsites.

- Keep the local office running well day to day — presentation, supplies, repairs and vendor coordination.

Here's What We Offer:

- Variety: no two days look the same — HR admin, visa support, WHS, events and workplace experience all in one role.

- Real ownership: you'll be trusted to run your state's day-to-day People &
- Culture presence, with a Manager who backs your judgement.

- Modern tools: work with systems, automation and AI already in place, not clunky manual processes.

- A supportive, connected team: you'll work closely with a Melbourne-based Manager and a fellow Coordinator interstate, plus a wider People &

- Culture team.

- Growth: we believe in developing our people and promoting from within.

- This role works 5 hours a day, 5 days a week (25 hours/week). Start and finish times may vary from week to week, so some flexibility around your schedule will help.

Why You'll Succeed Here:

You'll thrive in this role if you:

- Have experience in an administrative, HR support or office coordination role.

- Have strong attention to detail and follow-through — you keep records and processes accurate and current.

- Are comfortable with digital systems, and genuinely willing to learn new tools, automation and AI as they're introduced.

- Communicate well and build trusted relationships with employees and local stakeholders.

- Use sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.

- Bring flexibility and a proactive, can-do approach to a varied workload.

- Are willing to travel occasionally to coordinate with the People Operations Manager and the other Coordinator interstate.

Credentials &

- Certifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

- A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management (or equivalent).

You'll also have a head start if you hold:

- OHS Committee or Coordinator training, such as a Certificate IV in WHS.

- A relevant People systems or HR technology credential.

- Return to Work Coordinator accreditation for your state - regulator-approved training (QLD, NSW or VIC, depending on location)
