We’re partnering with a national organisation to appoint an experienced People Systems Manager to lead the ongoing optimisation, stability and performance of their HRIS and payroll systems landscape.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving system governance, continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery across key people systems. A strong background in SAP SuccessFactors (EC/ECP) is essential, while experience across workforce management platforms will be highly regarded.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Payroll & People Systems, you’ll lead a team of systems specialists and take ownership of the technical management, optimisation and ongoing enhancement of core People Systems.
Working closely with Payroll, HR, Finance and IT, you'll ensure systems remain reliable, compliant, secure and aligned to evolving business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team responsible for system support, administration and performance.
- Manage the configuration, optimisation and day-to-day technical operations of SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
- Support and enhance workforce management, time and attendance, and rostering systems as required.
- Ensure People Systems comply with payroll legislation, Awards, EBAs and internal governance requirements.
- Maintain strong standards of data integrity, security, access management and change control.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, IT and operational stakeholders to design and deliver effective system solutions.
- Manage relationships with vendors and implementation partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Coordinate system upgrades, releases, enhancements and testing activities with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system reliability, process efficiency and user experience.
- Maintain accurate system documentation, including integrations, workflows, configurations and data structures.
About You
- 7-10 years' experience working with HRIS, Payroll or People Systems.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP SuccessFactors, ideally across Employee Central (EC) and/or Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
- Experience working with workforce management, time and attendance, or rostering platforms (e.g.
Workforce
Software, UKG/Kronos, Dayforce or similar).
- Proven experience leading, mentoring or managing a technical systems team.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance requirements and workforce legislation.
- Experience managing integrations, data flows, system security and access governance.
- Solid background in system upgrades, testing (UAT), release management and continuous improvement.
- Solid stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across both business and technology teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and relationship-building capabilities.
