West Coast Bins are a locally owned company operating in the Waste Management and Recycling industry. We have been in operation for over 30 years and are committed to providing our employees with a safe and friendly environment.

We are currently looking for a Diesel Mechanic and a Boilermaker / Welder to join our team based in Malaga.

DIESEL MECHANIC - To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to be trade qualified and have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in a similar position.

You will also need to demonstrate:

- The ability to efficiently diagnose problems with the use of a computer
- Positive organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
- Very good hydraulics knowledge and understanding
- Good electrical experience
- Waste equipment experience would be an advantage
- Good fabricating skill

You will be responsible for:





- Diagnosing and maintaining a range of mainly European and Japanese trucks
- Maintaining front end loaders and excavators
- Maintaining trailers
- Maintaining skip, hook and compactor bodies
- Maintaining fixed plant - conveyors/screens

BOILERMAKER / WELDER - To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to be trade qualified and have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in a similar position.

You will also need to demonstrate:

- Experience with measuring and cutting steel to requirements
- Experience working with hand tools and cutting equipment
- Basic fitting experience would be an advantage

You will be responsible for:

- Repairing industrial bins
- Small repairs to excavator/loader grabs/buckets
- Preventive maintenance to screen decks and other wear parts

Remuneration packages between $78,000 - $80,000 will be offered to the successful candidates.
