About the Role – Finance Manager

Reporting to the Executive Manager Finance, the Finance Manager will play an significant role in ensuring robust financial management, accountability and compliance, while providing trusted financial support and advice across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

· Leading, managing and developing a small finance team.

· Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including the preparation of financial accounts through to trial balance.

· Implementing and maintaining effective financial systems, processes and controls to support financial monitoring, accountability and organisational compliance.

· Ensuring financial practices and reporting are accurate, efficient and aligned with relevant legislation, policies and organisational requirements.





· Providing high-quality financial support and customer service to the CEO, Executive Team, employees and contractors.

· Providing timely and practical financial information and advice to support sound organisational decision-making.

· Contributing to the effective and efficient operation of Regional Office services.

· Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, systems and reporting across the organisation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

· A minimum Certificate IV qualification in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience.

· Demonstrated experience in financial management, working with financial systems, accounting processes and financial reporting and leading managing a finance team.

· Sound knowledge and experience in financial controls, compliance and audit requirements.

· Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide effective financial advice and support to staff, management and the Executive Team.

· The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.





Salary up to $136,436 gross per annum + super (depending on qualifications and experience)
