We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Newcastle team and work on real engineering challenges across mining, heavy industry and asset-intensive environments.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be confined to one discipline, one client or a desk full of repetitive work.

You’ll have the opportunity to inspect, investigate, analyse, design, solve problems and advise clients — often working autonomously, supported by experienced Engineering, NDT, Condition Monitoring and Metallurgy teams.

The work

Depending on your experience and capability, you’ll contribute to:

· Mechanical inspections and assessments

· Failure investigations and root-cause analysis

· Engineering analysis and design

· Reliability and asset integrity improvement

· Technical reports and certifications

· Client consultation and technical problem solving

· Engineering projects and implementation

What you’ll bring

We’d like to meet engineers with:

· A Mechanical, Structural, Reliability or related Engineering degree

· Experience in consulting, design, reliability and heavy industry will be highly regarded

· Robust analytical and practical problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and client-facing capability

· A genuine commitment to safety, quality and professional standards

· The curiosity and ambition to keep developing

CPEng/RPEng is valued, but capability and potential matter to us too.

Some regional NSW travel will be required.
